Data Safety vs. App Privacy: Comparing the Usability of Android and iOS Privacy Labels

This is the first study to investigate the usability of Android privacy labels since the mandate in July 2022. We compare their usability to that of iOS labels through a between-subjects, semi-structured interview study involving 12 Android users and 12 iOS users.

A US-UK Usability Evaluation of Consent Management Platform Cookie Consent Interface Design on Desktop and Mobile

This study investigates how attitudes and behaviors vary based on key elements of CMP(Consent Management Platform)-implemented cookie banner design, including banner prominence, the location of cookie category definitions, and the initial cookie options displayed. The analysis compares differences between users in the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States (US), as well as between mobile phone users and users of other devices.
